BENITA KARROLL
Beverly Hills born and bred, Benita Karroll started her career in Entertainment with a wide and diverse background: with the legendary Sergio Mendes as his business, tour and road manager, as well as at The William Morris Agency in the Contemporary Music Division. In 1992, she partnered with Bernie Taupin producing AIDS Project Los Angeles' "Commitment to Life" fundraisers and oversaw Elton John's AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Party for 13 years.
Following her music related experience, Karroll was Director of Special Events and Marketing for the House of Blues shortly after it's opening on Sunset Strip. She struck out on her own to create Moondance Events & Entertainment. Having produced events such as The Princess Ball, working in collaboration with Kensington Palace on behalf of the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund; she served as a Talent Coordinator for President Clinton's Arkansas Ball during the 53rd Presidential Inaugural Ball in 1997 as well as Talent Coordinator for the Presidential Summit held in Philadelphia for all the living Presidents with Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, Gerald Ford, George Bush, Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan in attendance.
