 The Wadsworth Theater, site of tonight's premiere party for
Columbia's "XXX," is undergoing renovations in hopes
of attracting screenings as well as parties. The 1,400-seat
venue is being upgraded with a new projection system and "state
of the art" sound system. Work is expected to be finished
in October in time for premieres of holiday season films. The
Wadsworth, on the grounds of the Veterans Administration in
Westwood, was used for premiere parties of "Spider-man"
and "Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood." (Both
